I did not place myself before others for a long time, and my cup went empty. I had nothing to give to my loved ones or my community besides being the hostess with the mostess on the outside, and as soon as I hit a point in my life where everything went pear shape (you know how we all have that larger than Ben Hur moment) - I couldn't ride the wave. I thought my world was going to crumble around me. In fact, for a bit, it did.

As soon as I reached the breaking point in life and drew a line in the sand to say "Me First - No More 'One Day'," everything changed. I found what I loved doing. I discovered my legacy.

Today, I empower ambitious mums with not-so-little kids (yes, those delightful high schoolers and college-goers who are still at home) to stop putting their lives on hold until the nest is empty.
